Since 1997 the Center has organized important national and international events.
In 1997 th Center published the world first publication of two cds dedicated to the chamber music and piano production di Silvio Omizzolo, (Velut Luna Label, Padova).
In 1998 it oranized the festival "Risonanze Erranti" at the Olympic Theatre in Vicenza with the participation of eminent figures such as Emilio Vedova, Nuria Nono Schoenberg, Sylvano e Renzo Bussotti, Andrea Zanzotto.
In 1999 it paid homage to the writer Mario Rigoni Stern and the poet Giovanna Bemporad .
In 2000 the Center organized concerts, conferences and a exhibition in Sala Capitolare of Conservatory of Vicenza (in collaboration with "Archivio Nono" in Venice) dedicated to the eightieth birth anniversary of Luigi Nono.
In 1998 the Centre promoted the first edition of the Chamber Music International Competition "Silvio Omizzolo".
In few years the Competition has become one of the leading contests of this kind thanks to the high level of the participants and the involvement of important members of the Jury like Bruno Canino, Alain Damiens, Giovanni Guglielmo, Renato Zanettovich.
The attention to the didactic and concertistic aspect towards the young talents has continued up to now thanks to the later editions of the competition, dedicated every year to a different section, including each editions as compulsory piece a specific composition written by Omizzolo.
In 2005 organized the "Festival Silvio Omizzolo" to
commemorate the centenary of the birth of Silvio Omizzolo.
Many Italian cities as Padova, Vicenza, Bassano, Bergamo have properly celebrated
this anniversary with concerts and premiere of many Omizzolo's works
and with the special participation of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra
and the cellist Killin Roday (first prize at the Ciaikovski Competition in Moscow).
Due to the resonance at national level obtained in his first edition, the Festival Omizzolo will be replied and enriched with a series of concerts and other initiatives scheduled for the end of 2006.
