6th International Chamber Music Competition "Silvio Omizzolo" for Cello and Piano

Having reached its sixth edition, after the great success and interest of the
past editions shown by candidates from all parts of Europe, the "Silvio
Omizzolo" International Chamber Music Competition this year is dedicated
to the cello and piano.
Following the tradition and prestige of the competition itself, this
year too the president of the jury will be one of the
most important names in the international concert panorama such as the
Swiss cellist Rocco Filippini who, from 22 to 25 October
will coordinate the works with the other members of the jury, teachers
and concert performers of equal artistic value.
Cash prizes, recommendations to the
most important concert seasons and concerts attend all
those taking part in the competition, that is being brought forward conscientiously
and with dedication by the Centro Culturale Musicale Silvio Omizzolo,
in never-fading memory of the illustrious Paduan pianist, teacher, composer
and concert performer.
